Evoco SaaS Talk
Twelve years ago when we first founded Evoco, our game changing idea was to enable architects, general contractors and retailers to store their blue prints online, saving them on printing and shipping costs. While at the time it was a revolutionary idea and positioned us as one of the first to show true value in “the cloud”, today it is just a Google away. So in order to develop the next big thing, we turned to our clients. After working with the world’s largest retailers for the last decade, the same problem kept coming up; how to see increasing returns on real estate investments by cutting costs and increasing productivity. No small task, but we were up to the challenge.
Over the years retailers had adopted many point solutions, leaving important project and program data to exist in separate, disparate point systems. We realized that to increase ROI and productivity, we needed to improve visibility and decision making. Data must be aggregated and reconciled to build business metrics by which Executives and Managers could use to make better decisions, leading to more effective programs and ultimately better returns. More often than not, these isolated systems were not sufficient, as it showed only part of the picture with no feedback loop showing what was completed, whether the anticipated return on investment was generated, or if that even aligned with the original business case.
That was it. That was our next game changing concept; to find a way to fuze the valuable data spread throughout an organization and provide the visibility needed for enhanced decision making. So we designed and developed Evoco fuze that offers improved enterprise integration and interoperability. fuze provides the structure to bring together many point systems, aggregate the data and provide a framework for business reporting and analytics across the disparate systems. Providing both the timely and relevant information needed to succeed and meet the challenges of the next decade.
